TERMS OF SERVICE

Rules for using GlowHost

These terms explain what GlowHost provides, what we expect from users, and when access may be limited or removed.

Effective: August 2, 2026 Contact: [email protected]

1. Acceptance and eligibility

By accessing GlowHost, linking an account, creating a GDPS, or using a hosted server, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 13 years old and old enough to use Google or Discord under their rules. If local law requires permission from a parent or guardian, you must have that permission.

2. The GlowHost service

GlowHost is a community hosting service that can provision GDPS files, a managed MySQL database, generated credentials, a dashboard, public project pages, and related tools. Free accounts currently receive up to three active GDPS projects. Features, limits, cores, URLs, and availability may change as the service develops.

GlowHost is provided on a beta and best-effort basis. There is no guaranteed uptime, support response time, backup schedule, permanent URL, or compatibility with every Geometry Dash client or third-party core.

3. Accounts, activation, and limits

  • Provide accurate account information and keep access to your linked Google or Discord account secure.
  • Do not use alternate accounts to evade project limits, moderation, suspension, or bans.
  • You are responsible for activity performed through your dashboard and for staff roles you assign inside a GDPS.
  • Premium features and product keys are not publicly available until GlowHost marks them live. Any future price and purchase terms will be shown before payment.

4. Acceptable use

You may use GlowHost for lawful GDPS hosting and related community activity. You may not use it to:

  • Host malware, phishing pages, credential stealers, spam, scams, or intentionally harmful code.
  • Attack, probe, overload, disrupt, or bypass security on GlowHost, another GDPS, or any third-party service.
  • Upload or distribute content you do not have the right to use, or violate copyright, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
  • Harass, threaten, exploit, impersonate, or expose private information about another person.
  • Publish sexual exploitation material or any content involving the abuse or exploitation of minors.
  • Resell free GlowHost resources, automate abusive account creation, or use excessive resources in a way that harms other users.

We may apply technical limits, remove content, or restrict activity to protect GlowHost and its users.

5. Your GDPS and content

You keep ownership of names, logos, text, links, levels, and other material you submit, subject to any rights held by others. You give GlowHost a limited, non-exclusive permission to store, copy, process, and display that material only as needed to operate, secure, and promote the service.

You are responsible for your GDPS, its players, moderators, content, download links, and compliance with applicable licenses and laws. Public names, logos, tags, status, announcements, and download links may be visible to anyone.

6. Credentials and security

Generated database credentials and dashboard sessions are confidential. Do not publish them or reuse them elsewhere. Notify GlowHost promptly if you believe an account, key, database, or project has been compromised.

Do not attempt to access another user's project, files, database, or private information. You are responsible for choosing trustworthy GDPS staff and for reviewing links and files you publish.

7. Third-party software and services

GlowHost may rely on open-source GDPS cores, GitHub projects, Google, Appwrite, Discord, reCAPTCHA, email delivery, DNS, proxy, and infrastructure providers. Their own terms, privacy policies, licenses, and availability also apply. GlowHost does not control or guarantee third-party services.

GlowHost is independent and is not sponsored by or affiliated with RobTop Games, Geometry Dash, Google, Discord, Appwrite, or the authors of included GDPS cores unless explicitly stated.

8. Suspension, termination, and deletion

We may suspend, limit, hide, or delete accounts, GDPS projects, files, databases, or content when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, respond to legal requests, protect security, prevent abuse, or keep the service working.

You may delete a GDPS from its dashboard or request account assistance at [email protected]. Keep your own copies of anything important. Deletion and outages may be permanent, and GlowHost is not a backup service.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GlowHost is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, data preservation, security, or compatibility.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GlowHost and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost data, lost profits, service interruption, third-party conduct, or unauthorized access arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Changes, law, and contact

We may update these terms as GlowHost changes. The effective date at the top will be updated, and material changes may also be announced on the site or Discord. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Applicable law and mandatory consumer protections govern these terms. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Questions or reports can be sent to [email protected].
